Braided hair been one of the most obvious beauty trends this year. People seem to have a love-hate relationship with it -some people think it's pretty and some think it's just too cutesy. For most part, I think braids is a cute way to add some girliness to ones hairstyle, but it really depends on how you do it and whether it suits the rest of your look.
Braided Hair
The celebrity that has been sporting braids the most seems to be Lauren Conrad. And if you know Lauren's usual style (-very girly,) then you would probably agree that the braids really suit Lauren.
Fashion Hair Trend
The basic way seems to be braiding the front bit of your hair and pull the briad to one side, and tie all your hair up into a pony tail. Look how well the braid goes with Lauren's style! And she even manages to use the braid to glam up her whole hairstlye and look. Nicole Richie uses the braids to complement her boho, LA style. Then there's the braided up-do. I have to admit I think this hairstyle really doesn't suit Gwen Stefani. It looks so complicated and just... weird on her. I love the way Rachel wore the braid. She manages to wear the braid without looking overly girly, keeping her casual and trendy look. Despite how cute I think the braid is, I still haven't tried it out yet. It's probably because I don't want to look like I'm 14, but mostly because it requires some effort to pull together (as opposed to doing nothing.) What do you think of the braid trend? Have you tried it?

Megan Ward works her hair well with a bob that’s angled and layered at the front. This gives the illusion of a faux fringe. To achieve this look, use a round brush and blow dry hair smoothly
How a man chooses to wear his hair can either make him or break him as they say. Let‘s face it– our hair completes our look. It is a major portion of what people see when they glance at us, notice us in their peripheral vision, or simply stare at us. Therefore, caution should be used when selecting a new hairstyle, unless you are trying to make a statement.
Blond longer male hair
Trendy hairstyles typically refer to short and spiky or long and relaxed. The classic cut is always short and nicely fitted. Everything else falls somewhere in between the two unless it falls into the category of wild and unique. Wild haircuts include Mohawks, Emo, buzz cut, and faux hawk.

Dolce & Gabanna -winter hairstyle 2009 Dolce & Gabbana -winter hair style 2009 Alexander Mc Queen winter hairstyle 2008 I LOVE the Dolce & Gabanna hairstyle -so gorgeous! The Alexander Mc Queen hairstyle is a bit too frizzy, but still a great example of this hairstyle. So let's break this hairstyle into two simple things we need to focus on: volume and tamed hair.
So how do you achieve this gorgeous hairstyle? Well, for the Dolce & Gabbana catwalk show, the hairstylists had to do this:
Obviously, we don't all have the luxury of having professional hairstylists do all that for us. So here's a simple way which we can all do at home:
Firstly, you need styling products to add major volume! I recommend Kerastase Volumactive and Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray. I've personally tried both, and both are great! I mean, you obviously can't expect the products to create the catwalk hair, but they def make your hair more alive, more bouncy! Tip: Put these volumising products only at the roots. Putting them at the ends would just weigh down the hair. Kerastase Volumactive
Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray Secondly, you need a round brush.
Tip: While blow-drying your hair, use the brush to brush each layer to the opposite direction your hair usually goes to create volume. Thirdly, you need some sort of styling creme to tame your hair. I can't stress how important defrizzing your hair is. If you like, you could opt for a straightening product. Right now, I'm using Bumble & Bumble Grooming Creme. It gives your hair more texture and a soft hold. It also moisturizes color-treated hair and defrizzes. And it's not oily, so it won't leave your hair greasy.
Tip: Apply such cremes from the middle to end of your hair. Use your fingers to comb products into hair.
Bumble & Bumble Grooming Creme If you're out for a big night and want some serious volume, spray some super-hold hairspray at the crown of your head and backcomb your hair to give it an extra lift. But don't do this everyday because it could damage the hair cuticle.
A final tip: It's optional whether you use volumising shampoos and conditioners, but do put more conditioner at the hair ends and less at the roots as conditioners tend to make hair softer, thus making your whole hairstyle flatter.
Now you all should know how to get this season's striking 60s hairstyle
